Join us for an annual tradition!
The NHCA’s annual Holiday Party & Lights Tour is a family-friendly festivity for all! Activities include a holiday-themed nighttime glow bike ride, a potluck party, and a trolley tour of the best lights in Normal Heights.
La Fiesta Decembrina y Recorrido de Luces anual de NHCA es un evento familiar y divertido para todxs! Actividades incluyen un paseo nocturno en bicicletas iluminadas, una fiesta de “traje” (una comida compartida), y un recorrido en tranvía de las mejores luces decembrinas en Normal Heights.
Holiday Joy Ride
Paseo Decembrina de Bicicleta
Join us on Sunday, 12/14, at Ward Canyon Park for a nighttime bike ride! Bundle up, wear your wackiest holiday outfit, and decorate your bike. This is a fun opportunity for a slow and festive cruise through the neighborhood. Thank you to the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition for supporting this event!
- 5:00 pm – LightMeUp Safety Lights will be on site to help you decorate your bike. Arrive early to save your spot in line. $10 per tire.
- 5:30 pm – Check-in, enjoy refreshments, and hear the safety talk.
- 6:00pm – Roll out!

Vistense calientitos, ponganse algo chistoso para celebrar, y decoren sus bicicletas! Esta es una oportunidad divertida para ir de cruising en nuestra vecindad llena de luces decembrinas. Gracias al San Diego County Bicycle Coalition por su ayuda con este evento!
- 5:00pm – LightMeUp Safety Lights estarán allí para ayudarte a decorar tu bicicleta con luces. Lleguen temprano para guardar su lugar en línea. $10 cada llanta.
- 5:30pm – Registracion (gratis y sin obligacion de dar su nombre), disfruta refrescos, y oi nuestra plática de seguridad
- 6:00pm – Al paseo!

Join us on Wednesday 12/17, from 6pm to 9pm at the Normal Heights Community Center (4649 Hawley Boulevard) for a Holiday Potluck and Trolley Tour of the Lights!
In addition to trolley rides, we’ll have activities for the kiddos! Bring a dish to share.
