Holiday Home Decorating Contest is upon us! We love to see your joyful decorations and hope you will enter! Because we had such a large turnout last year and we anticipate even more this year, we’re going to have a committee that will select the finalists for the final judging by the party attendees.
Here’s the timeline:
Nov 14 – Dec 1 – Accepting contest entrants at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name and address in an email saying you want to enter. You’ll get a response email within a couple of hours.
Dec 1 – Last day to enter contest
Dec 10 – Selection for Finalists. Have your décor ready and in place from 6pm – 8pm. If you have special circumstances, i.e. livestock, people involved or whatever that make it difficult to have your full display ready the 10th, please let us know.
Dec 12 – Big Night! The first trolley will leave the community center around 6pm, so you’ll want to have your décor in place and ready around 5:30-6pm. Come to the Community Center and join in the potluck and hop on a trolley to tour the homes and vote for your favorite. After all the votes are tallied, the prizes will be awarded. You do NOT need to be present to win. We will deliver the prizes if the winners are not present.
